[PHILADELPHIA, PA – June 3, 2024] – Tech education non-profit Coded by Kids marks ten years of impact with an anniversary fundraising event on June 6, 2024.

Coded by Kids (CBK), a Philadelphia-based nonprofit dedicated to providing underrepresented youth with tech education and leadership opportunities, proudly commemorates its 10th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, CBK will host a special fundraising event on June 6th, 2024, at the Center for Design Philadelphia, inviting supporters, community members, and tech enthusiasts to join in an evening of innovation, inspiration, and impact.

Over the past ten years, Coded by Kids has made significant strides in its mission to increase equity in the tech industry. Founded in 2014, CBK started with the vision of equipping underrepresented youth with the skills and support necessary to excel in tech. Through a variety of free programs, CBK has empowered over 2,000 students in the Philadelphia region, transforming beginners into proficient coders, tech leaders, and startup founders. This anniversary marks a decade of tireless dedication to nurturing the next generation of innovators and leaders.

The 10th-anniversary event promises to break the mold of traditional formal gatherings, inviting attendees to enjoy a relaxed, come-as-you-are celebration. Experience an atmosphere rich with creativity and innovation as CBK celebrates ten years of empowering young minds through technology and entrepreneurship education.
